The World’s 3rd Best City!
The evening drive home from Atlantique Villa Camps Bay is always such a special one, especially in summer when the New7Wonders of Nature is lit up, Cape Town’s pride and joy… Table Mountain.
They say once an African, always an African, and touching down back in Cape Town International Airport after spending 6 months working abroad, I was so overwhelmed with a sense of “I’m home, back on African soil”
Having travelled extensively world wide, I was filled with such pride when Cape Town was named the third best city in the world by Lonely Planet. Holding such an honour going into 2014 is beyond significant not only is Cape Town the World Design Capital, but South Africans will cast their ballot papers in our National Election, marking 20 years of Democracy.
Capetonians know we live in the best city in the World – now the rest of the world also knows it!

A man who touched the lives of the nation has gone home. The 5th of December 2013 will be a day that everyone will remember what they were doing when the news broke of Nelson Mandela’s passing. A day the World’s focus turned to South Africa, a day I have never been more proud to be a South African. Ubuntu – I am, because we are.
